Thomas Warsop Chairman and CEO
Thomas Warsop Chairman and CEO

Tom is a transformational leader with three decades of experience leading global businesses and changing the status quo.

Tom joined York as chairman of the board in June 2017 to champion change and accelerate York’s value through operational excellence. He is committed to delivering superb quality in an industry where consistency is everything. He believes the results that matter the most are the ones you can see and feel. Since coming to York, his impact has reverberated across our organization and is driving York’s ability to live out our mission: we reduce risk and get people and organizations back to health, work and productivity.

Previously, Tom served as CEO of The Warranty Group where he led a complete technology and business process transformation. Prior to The Warranty Group, he was group vice president of Fiserv, one of the world’s largest financial service technology solution providers. He began his career at Electronic Data Systems Corporation, where, over an 18-year tenure, he advanced from the financial development program to the global leader of the financial services business.

Mark Bilger EVP, Chief Information Officer
Mark Bilger EVP, Chief Information Officer

Mark has more than 35 years of experience developing and driving technology strategies and solutions. He oversees York’s enterprise IT infrastructure, support and corporate security; he also leads and manages the development of our technology solutions.

Prior to joining York in 2017, Mark served as an executive consultant with The Field Group Institute, where he guided clients’ information technology strategies, with a special focus on portfolio planning and modernization. Throughout his career, he has held executive and senior leadership positions overseeing customer IT strategies, innovation programs, and worldwide application delivery for leading technology companies such as Dell and Electronic Data Systems.

He holds a bachelor’s degree in Mathematics and Psychology from Wheaton College.

Maria Conry SVP, Chief Marketing Officer

Maria oversees York’s marketing and communications, helping to shape and share the York story and brand. She leads the teams responsible for bringing our story, mission and values to life in innovative and inspired ways, adding value for our clients, supporting our communities and empowering our associates.

For nearly 20 years, Maria partnered with Fortune 500 and mid-market companies to deliver strategic marketing and branding solutions. She most recently served as managing director of CWT Interactive, a York subsidiary. Previously, she has held executive and marketing positions at FITCH, a global brand and retail consultancy, and Resource/Ammirati (now IBM iX), supporting some of the world’s best-known consumer brands.

Maria holds a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, with a specialization in Marketing, from The Ohio State University Fisher College of Business.

Dennis Duchene EVP, Managed Care
Dennis Duchene EVP, Managed Care

Dennis oversees and manages all aspects of York’s Managed Care services.

With more than 20 years of managed care and financial experience, Dennis has held a number of high-level leadership positions at firms including Arthur Andersen, American Electric Power and Dominion Homes. Dennis most recently served as president and chief operating officer of CareWorks of Ohio, a York subsidiary.

He holds a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from The University of Dayton, is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) in Ohio and a Chartered Global Management Accountant (CGMA). Dennis is currently serving on the board of directors of the Ohio Chamber of Commerce and is president-elect for the Columbus chapter of the Association for Corporate Growth; he holds committee positions in both organizations. He has also served the United Way of Central Ohio as co-chair of their Young Leadership Group and on the annual campaign committee.

Tom Hebson SVP, General Manager Insurance

Tom focuses on serving our insurance carrier, captive and MGA clients, determining which solutions for holistic risk management will ensure superb quality in everyday operations.

He has more than 30 years of experience in the industry and was most recently vice president at Safety National Casualty Corporation, overseeing large guaranteed cost workers’ compensation and captive services. Tom has also held leadership roles at Midwest Employers and AIG.

A graduate of Augustana College, he holds a bachelor’s degree in Accounting and Business; he earned a master’s certification in Quality Improvement and Executive Management from Cornell University. Tom is also a designated Certified Workers’ Compensation Professional (CWCP) and holds a Certificate in Captive Insurance (CCI).

Lou Keyes EVP, Chief Sales Officer

Lou oversees all aspects of York’s global sales and client service strategies, managing both teams of professionals.

He has more than 25 years of sales, management and client service experience across a wide range of industry-leading organizations. Prior to York, Lou served as senior vice president for enterprise accounts at Fiserv. Before Fiserv, Lou spent 18 years at Electronic Data Systems and Hewlett Packard Enterprise Services rising from sales executive to executive leadership. Throughout his career, he has developed a strong reputation as an executive capable of helping clients find solutions to complex business challenges.

He holds a bachelor’s degree from The University of Texas at Dallas.

Michael Krawitz EVP, General Counsel
Michael Krawitz EVP, General Counsel

Michael brings more than 20 years of experience to his role as York’s chief legal officer, managing the day-to-day operations of our various in-house statutory responsibilities.

Since joining York in 2015, Michael has directed the organization’s legal affairs, providing strategic insight and guidance to the executive team. Prior to York, Michael served as general counsel for companies across several industry sectors, including finance and technology. He has also served on the board for Positive ID Corporation, a leading biological detection and diagnostic solutions firm serving the defense and healthcare market.

He holds a bachelor’s degree from Cornell University, and received his JD from Harvard University.

Danielle McMahan EVP, Chief Human Resources Officer
Danielle McMahan EVP, Chief Human Resources Officer

Danielle brings more than 20 years of experience in talent and leadership development, organizational effectiveness, cultural transformation and performance management.

Prior to joining York, Danielle led global talent development for American Express Global Business Travel. She has also held several senior human resource positions in organizations across the insurance and financial services industries, including ADP and Citibank. She is a frequent and in-demand speaker at conferences and global forums in the human resources space.

Danielle received a bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Barnard College and master’s degree in Organizational Psychology from Columbia University.

Jody Moses EVP, General Manager Public Entity
Jody Moses EVP, General Manager Public Entity

Jody manages the design and implementation of customized claims management solutions for public entities across the country. With 25 years of public entity claims administration experience, Jody has played a critical role in evolving and expanding York’s public entity services.

She is a certified workers’ compensation claims adjuster with expertise in the complex California workers’ compensation system; she is also a licensed general adjuster and has earned an Associate in Risk Management designation. A frequent speaker and workshop leader at regional and national public entity risk management conferences, she actively works with public entities to analyze and influence legislative and regulatory changes that directly affect public entity risk management programs.

Sas Mukherjee EVP, Chief Financial Officer
Sas Mukherjee EVP, Chief Financial Officer

Bringing more than 20 years of leadership and management experience, Sas oversees and manages the financial and strategic planning for York. He plays a key role in shaping the organization’s financial operations and shared services, including budgeting, reporting and expense management.

Before joining York in 2016, Sas served in various senior leadership roles for a number of companies, including Serco Group, Intelenet Global Services and Kaiser Permanente. He is the co-founder and a board member of Global Ideas eXchange, a San Francisco-based nonprofit that promotes awareness around globalization, and served as 2017-2018 president of the San Francisco Bay Area chapter of Finance Executives International.

Sas holds a bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from Jadavpur University, and has studied management and business administration at the graduate level.

James Podesva SVP, Specialized Loss Adjusting
James Podesva SVP, Specialized Loss Adjusting

James leads global business operations in the U.S., U.K., the Caribbean and South America for the SLA line of business at York.

He has nearly 40 years of experience in the insurance industry, specifically in complex and specialized losses, including more than 15 years at York. He previously served as vice president and senior executive adjuster for York, where he developed industry best practices for U.S. and global programs and played a critical role in the growth of the SLA team.

Prior to York, James spent more than 11 years as executive general adjuster for Royal & Sun Alliance and GAB Robbins North America.

James studied Archeology at The State University of New York. He is a frequent speaker in the U.S. and Europe and is a member of various specialty practice groups.

Patrick Walsh EVP, Chief Claims Officer
Patrick Walsh EVP, Chief Claims Officer

Patrick brings more than 30 years of insurance industry experience to his role. He is responsible for leading all of York’s global claims operations.

Prior to joining York in 2016, Patrick held executive positions with some of the largest insurance and claims services companies. Most recently, he served as senior vice president and chief claims officer for Accident Fund Holdings (AF Group).

He holds a bachelor’s degree in Organizational Communications from the University of Akron, and serves on the advisory board for the National Workers’ Compensation and Disability Conference. He is also the past chairman of the board of the Wisconsin chapter of the Make-A-Wish Foundation.
